IFZA business setup in Dubai

IFZA is a Dubai free zone with its business park in Dubai Silicon Oasis. We check your activity against IFZA's official list, prepare and submit your application, and flag any approval another regulator needs.

Overview

How IFZA company setup works

IFZA describes itself as a free zone community in Dubai for foreign investors setting up and growing a business. Its property arm offers workspace in IFZA Business Park in Dubai Silicon Oasis.

IFZA's official activity list groups activities under commercial and professional licenses. Some activities name an approval from another authority, such as a ministry or a Dubai regulator, before IFZA can license them.

Because the list decides what you can do, we start there. If your activity sits better in another zone, or needs an approval that changes your timeline, we tell you before you apply.

Our part

What we do, and what we don't

Clear boundaries, so you know exactly what you're paying for and who decides each step.

Included

  • A check that IFZA lists your exact activity, and which approvals it names
  • A comparison with one or two other zones, if another fits you better
  • Application forms prepared, typed and submitted to IFZA
  • Document checks, plus translation and attestation guidance for corporate shareholders
  • Follow-up with the zone until it makes a decision
  • Post-license guidance on your establishment card, visas and corporate tax registration

Not included

  • We don't issue IFZA licenses; the zone's authority decides.
  • We don't decide bank account applications; banks apply their own policies.
  • Work outside the free zone needs separate approvals; we explain the options, the authorities decide.
  • We don't give legal or tax advice on complex group structures; a licensed adviser can.
Documents

Documents you'll need

  • Passport copies for all shareholders and the manager
  • Emirates ID and residence visa copies, if you live in the UAE
  • Your chosen activities and a shortlist of trade name options
  • A short business plan or activity description, if the zone asks for one
  • For corporate shareholders: certificate of incorporation, constitutional documents, a board resolution and a good standing letter, attested for UAE use

IFZA sets its own document list; we confirm it for your activity before you apply.

Ask on WhatsApp
Where is IFZA located?

IFZA's business park is in Dubai Silicon Oasis. IFZA Property, the zone's real estate arm, offers workspace there that it describes as customisable. Which option you need depends on your activity and how many residence visas you plan to sponsor, so we check both against IFZA's rules before you apply.

Which license types does IFZA offer?

IFZA's official activity list groups activities under commercial and professional licenses. Trading activities usually sit under commercial and consultancy-style work under professional, but the list itself decides. We check which license your activities fall under, whether you can combine them on one license and whether any of them names an approval from another authority.

Does my activity need an extra approval in IFZA?

Some do. For those activities, IFZA's official list names the authority whose approval is needed, such as a federal ministry or a Dubai regulator, and that approval can add documents and time. Search your activity in our activity finder to see what IFZA's list says, then we confirm the details before you apply.

How much does IFZA company setup cost?

It depends on your activities, the license term, your workspace and how many visas you need. Rather than a headline price that may not fit your plans, your consultant sends a written quotation with every IFZA fee and our service fee shown separately, so you can compare before you pay anything.
