Corporate PRO services in Dubai

PRO (public relations officer) services cover the government paperwork a company runs on: visas, work permits, Emirates ID, labour contracts and license renewals. Our Bur Dubai team prepares each file, submits it and follows it up, with government fees always shown separately from our own.

Overview

What corporate PRO services cover

Every UAE company deals with government departments from the day it is licensed. Owners need residence, staff need work permits and visas, contracts need registering, and the trade license and immigration file need renewing on time. In the UAE this is called PRO work, and many people also know it as document clearing. It is routine, but it is detailed, and small errors cause long delays.

Global Sky PRO handles that work from our office at Fahidi Heights in Bur Dubai. We type and check applications, arrange translation and attestation when a document needs it, submit each file through the right channel and chase it until there is an answer. You see every application and every fee before anything is submitted.

The decisions are never ours. Global Sky PRO is a private consultancy, and residence and work permit decisions are made by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP), the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs Dubai (GDRFA Dubai) and the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE). Licenses are renewed by the Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), and Golden Visa property requests go through the Dubai Land Department (DLD).

Below are our four visa services, for company owners, property owners and investors, families and employers. The comparison table shows which one fits your situation, and each service page sets out the documents, steps and fees in detail.

How it works

Each step shows who does what, so you always know where things stand.

  • You
  • Global Sky PRO
  • Authority
  1. Step 1: Tell us what you need

    You

Send a WhatsApp message or call with the service you need, who it is for and your company name. A few lines are enough for us to start.

  2. Step 2: Get a written plan and quote

    Global Sky PRO

We confirm the route, list the documents and set out government fees and our service fee separately, in writing, before any work begins.

  3. Step 3: Share your documents

    You

Send scans of passports, licenses and certificates. We tell you which originals, attested copies or translations the authority will expect.

  4. Step 4: We prepare and submit

    Global Sky PRO

We type each application, check it line by line against your documents and submit it. You pay government fees at cost.

  5. Step 5: Attend appointments

    You

You or your staff attend medical tests and Emirates ID biometrics at the times we book, and sign contracts where the process needs it.

  6. Step 6: The authority decides

    Authority

ICP, GDRFA Dubai, MOHRE or DET reviews the file and may ask for more. We handle each request and update you until the decision.

In-house PRO or outsourced PRO services

A full-time PRO suits a company that processes visas, renewals and contract changes every week. For many small and mid-sized companies the work is uneven: a burst of hiring, a quiet few months, then several renewals falling due together. Outsourcing means you pay for the work when it happens, without adding a salary, a visa and a desk for one more employee.

It also spreads the knowledge. Portals, document formats and the rules on work permits, insurance and Emiratisation change from time to time, and keeping up with them is part of our daily work. You keep control throughout: nothing is submitted without your go-ahead, and nothing is paid until you have agreed the amount.

What we handle beyond visas

Visas depend on the company's own files being in order, so a lot of PRO work happens around them. Alongside the four visa services, we help with:

  • Trade license renewals with DET
  • Immigration establishment card applications and renewals
  • MOHRE establishment registration, labour contracts and contract changes
  • Visa and work permit cancellations when staff leave
  • Document typing, legal translation and attestation through the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA)
  • Checking staff health insurance and Involuntary Loss of Employment (ILOE) cover before visa steps

Common reasons PRO files get delayed

Most delays are avoidable. They come from small mismatches more often than from serious problems, and a careful check before submission catches most of them.

  • Names spelt differently on passports, contracts and certificates
  • An expired trade license or establishment card, which blocks new visa applications
  • Foreign certificates without the full attestation chain ending at MOFA
  • Documents that need legal translation into Arabic but arrive without it
  • Missed medical or biometrics appointments, which push the whole file back
  • Health insurance that lapses while an application is open

What does PRO mean in the UAE?

PRO stands for public relations officer. In the UAE it means the person or service that handles a company's government transactions, such as visas, work permits, Emirates ID, labour contracts and license renewals, by preparing the paperwork and dealing with the authorities. Despite the name, it has nothing to do with media or press relations.

Which PRO services does a UAE company need?

PRO services include residence visas for owners, staff and families, work permits, Emirates ID, labour contracts, establishment card and license renewals, and the typing, translation and attestation those files need. We prepare and submit each one and follow it up, while the decision stays with ICP, GDRFA Dubai, MOHRE or DET.

Does my company need a PRO?

If your company holds a license or sponsors any visas, someone has to manage its government paperwork. That can be an in-house PRO, a member of staff who learns the systems, or an outsourced service. Smaller companies often outsource, because the work comes in bursts and rarely justifies a full-time role.

How are PRO service fees charged?

Government fees are paid at cost and always listed separately from our service fee. Before work starts, we send a written quote for our part, based on the services you need. You see both figures before you pay anything, and we confirm any government amount that may have changed since your last application.

Do I need to visit government offices myself?

Often not. Much of the work runs online through the authorities' portals and UAE PASS, the national digital identity, so we can handle it for you. You or your staff still attend in person for medical tests and Emirates ID biometrics, and some services need original documents or signatures, which we arrange with you in advance.

Which languages can I speak with your team?

You can speak to us in English, Hindi, Urdu, Malayalam or Bengali, in person at Fahidi Heights, by phone or on WhatsApp. Applications are filed in the format each authority requires, and we arrange legal translation into Arabic wherever a document needs it, so language never holds up your file.

Is document clearing the same as PRO services in Dubai?

Yes. In Dubai, document clearing and PRO services usually describe the same work: preparing, typing, submitting and following up government transactions such as visas, Emirates ID, labour contracts and license renewals. Many GDRFA Dubai services can be applied for online through its website or smart app, using UAE PASS or a username, or in person at an Amer service centre. Whoever handles the paperwork, the authority makes the decision.

Who decides on visa, work permit and license applications in the UAE?

Government authorities decide every application, not the PRO. The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) issues work permits, ICP and GDRFA Dubai decide on entry permits and residence, ICP issues the Emirates ID, the Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) renews Dubai mainland licenses, and the Dubai Land Department (DLD) handles Golden Visa requests through property. Global Sky PRO prepares, types, translates, submits and follows up your file.

How long do PRO services take in Dubai?

There is no single timeline, because each authority sets the time for its own services. At the time of writing, GDRFA Dubai lists an expected completion time of 48 hours for issuing an establishment card, for example. Your overall time also depends on whether documents need attestation or translation, how soon medical and biometrics appointments are available, and whether the authority asks for more information.

Which company documents should I keep ready for PRO work?

Keep your current trade license, memorandum of association or partners' list, and passport copies for owners and authorised signatories ready to share. To issue an establishment card, GDRFA Dubai asks for the appendix of partners' names, the authorised signatories' passport copies and, where a manager signs, an authorisation certified by a notary public. Keeping these current and spelt consistently saves a lot of back-and-forth on later visa files.
