What a well-typed memo looks like
Court memos follow a familiar structure, even though the content varies from case to case. A clean typed version makes each of these parts easy to find. We confirm any current requirement for your case type before finalising, because procedures can change.
- Court name, case number and the parties' names and roles
- A short subject line or title
- The facts, set out in numbered paragraphs
- The arguments, as written by you or your lawyer
- The requests made to the court
- A numbered list of attached documents
